We arrived at the property early and the lovely friendly receptionist (after checking the room was ready) gave us the key. Much appreciated after a long journey.

The room was rather compact so a bed without a heavy wooden frame would have saved us a few bruised shins!

Beautifully styled family room on the ground floor with excellent accessibility. It was spotlessly clean, modern, and very comfortable for the whole family. Great amenities like free Wi-Fi, private entrance, and parking. Excellent hospitality from the team. I had my 50th Birthday function also in this hotel and the food was incredible could not fault it and our guests really enjoyed it also. Super customer service from the team ! We are a family of 3 and 1 with a disability and highly recommended how welcoming and comfortable they made us all feel from the moment we arrived to leaving . We will be back .

I had a lovely 3 day stay here for work purposes. I cannot speak highly enough about the staff in the hotel and the restaurant. Maria, thank you for helping with some printing needs and also directing me on how best to catch the Mayo Team and all the celebrations. Same to the lovely lady in the bar, Jacinta (I think)! You ladies are powerhouses with the work you've done during this special week! Up Mayo! Small but lovely room, fantastic shower. Food was delicious. Roast beef was exceptional. Thank you :)

Nice location, cosy hotel, friendly staff and gorgeous bathroom.
What did you not like about your stay in the property or location?
Lots of hairs on the bedsheets and a lot of noise coming from the hallway and downstairs at night. I’m not talking about the bar guests because that is understandable, but it sounded like furniture being moved and a lot of door slamming.

The en-suite facilities for this room very small. Impossible not to get water everywhere. No shelves hooks for own toiletries.

My only complaint is the food quality and sadly it seems to be consistent. I ordered fish& chips and the fish was very burned.Another customer at the table beside me had the same issue and complained. A few weeks prior to that my wife and I ordered the Linguini and it was really terrible. Sadly,I love the place but it's getting to the stage that we will have to start eating elsewhere... The 7.30 pm 'last food orders' is also ridiculous... Time to get a good flexible chef...! Not an easy task but you're losing business as a result...

No mirror in the bedroom so drying my hair was a challange no tea / coffee facilities in room had to ask at reception for this no hair dryer also had to ask at reception luckily I’d brought my own very sharp ends on bed frame only 3 coat hangers provided for hanging clothes,The blinds in the bedroom didn’t fit properly so the light came in very early in the morning on the plus side the bed was very comfortable and shower was good.

Centrally located. Got the two rooms requested. Good standard of cleanliness.

TV in bedroom didn't work. - station names sppeared on sreen but no picture or sound!. Did not bring this to staff attention as we didn't spend much time in the room. No tea/coffee making option in bedroom and no water or drinking glasses provided.. Breakfast was good but would have iliked a cold buffet option (cereals, fruit, juices etc.) along with the a la carte service. Dinner was just ok. Service not over friendly but adequate - no black p.epper mill available for the pasta dish ordered - staff didn't appear to even know what one iwas when it was requested!

The Moy Hotel is charming and in a very good location. The reception staff was wonderful and the adjoining pub/restaurant was very good.

I wish the restaurant was open for dinner later than 7;30.
