National Museum of Ireland – Country Life
Turlough, Castlebar, Co. Mayo
This award-winning museum houses Ireland’s National Folklife Collection and takes visitors back in time to discover what country life was like between 1850 and 1950. Set on 40 acres of stunning parkland, there’s lots to discover with woodland trails, outdoor art, a Gothic revival mansion, an adventure playground and a 10k greenway to nearby Castlebar. There is also a café and gift shop on site.

Linenhall Arts Centre
Castlebar, Co. Mayo
The Linenhall programmes a range of art forms in the theatre, including literature, dance, theatre, music and film. The theatre is a very flexible performing space that can be adapted easily to the requirements of the performers. In its most formal arrangement it has a seating capacity of 144 but seating layouts can vary depending on the nature of the event.
