Very convenient location with lots of on street parking nearby.

No cereals included in breakfast. Fried eggs tasted very oily.

Very noisy room just over the bar. Didn't get to sleep until nearly 4am. Breakfast was good but not hotel standard for the price. Very minimal as no cereal, yogurt, pastries etc. included as would be in a normal hotel. This should have been communicated at time of booking. Shower is spraying all over the floor due to divider strip at edge of shower preventing water from flowing back into shower- had to use 4 towels to mop up water as this is quite dangerous. Staff not very knowledgeable didn't know breakfast time etc. no info. at all given at check in. Clearers came into room & were cleaning before we checked out. We were 10mins.late though but not very professional to do this.

Clean room and bathroom. Decent size. Bed was comfy, very good breakfast.
What did you not like about your stay in the property or location?
A major issue was that the water supply in the bathroom kept cutting off. Taking a shower and it just stopped abruptly. This kept on happening even into the Sunday morning, completely unacceptable. I couldn't lock the window closed and given the room's location there was a lot of street noise until the early hours. It seems the water tank for the hotel was located directly over the bedroom too and was constantly filling all night.

Maria and the staff at The Moy Hotel gave our group an absolutely 5 star experience. From all the support leading up to our event to being flexible and patient with us when we needed to request changes - it was such a lovely experience. Great food. Super comfy beds. The massive shower. Loved every minute that we spent there. Thank you so much for all you did to make the visit feel effortless.

Hair from prior guest still in the shower drain when I arrived; I had to clean it. Bedding was old and scratchy not as comfortable as in the past

Location was perfect. The room and bathroom were lovely. The staff welcoming. Next time I fish the Moy I'll be staying here, in fact you can travel from London and be fishing here in a few hours. Loved it.

The staff members on call were very friendly, particularly the women. The food was fantastic. The room was lovely, as was the shower next to it.

Excellent staff and very friendly. The food was delicious and the prices for food and drink was very reasonable and exceptional value

Good location, friendly staff, rooms we had were good and a nice breakfast.

Both rooms not ready at 3pm. Fire alarm at 2.30am with no apology or explanation the next morning. Music from bar still going at 3.30am.

It is a very good Hotel. The staff were really genuinely friendly and very helpful in recommending places to visit and things to see. The food there was excellent, I'd give the whole experience a 10 ++ I'd highly recommend this hotel. A big 10+++ for the staff

Room was very basic. No coffee facility in room. Kitchen extractor fans blowing into room with constant smell of cooking. Poor blackout on windows at night.

Sadly like so many rural towns & villages in Ireland the Village of Foxford is very run down (except for May Hotel)

We arrived at the property early and the lovely friendly receptionist (after checking the room was ready) gave us the key. Much appreciated after a long journey.

The room was rather compact so a bed without a heavy wooden frame would have saved us a few bruised shins!
